Oceanic Love Story

A heartwarming elopement by the beach in Cologne came to our minds when I saw the calm sunset at this magical place, where our two lovebirds tied the knot.

How long did we swoon over the idea to host a wild oceanic elopement by the beach? A perfect setting at the sundown beach in Cologne came to our minds when we saw the calm sunset at this magical place…

With a wooden tipi, covered by sheer silk runners blowing in the wind, we styled our sea and sand inspired table decoration under an antique chandelier with white capiz shell lighting…

Oceanic alternatives to florals on  the table, like crystalline shades to coral centerpieces, were composed with lightweight plain linens. Using draped table runners in a mix with irisent shells and minerals to infuse our senses with the ocean and its spirit….

Mother of pearl antique cutlery with silvery muted accents, in play to the palette of the ocean.

A messy iced naked cake inspired by the majestically ocean and adorned with a sea of sugar crystals.

A magical cake that catches the light of the sunset while our couples elopement by the beach.

A divine way to add details to the beach themed wedding, just according to the philosophy of Kiss from Fleur. Custom made to reflect the couples personalities for their elopement by the beach.

Our water colored hand painted miniature cake matched beautifully to the grey of the salty sea and the rosé of the sunset. Styled with a name topper out of mother of pearl and irisent capiz shells especially created for a divine elopement by the beach.

What a beautiful idea to ask our calligrapher to ink the guest names on capiz shells, an incredible keepsake to take home and last forever…

One more alternative to paper were screen printed silk menus which added a more delicate look to our tables.

The wedding stationery for our elopement by the beach was written on translucent paper and sheer vellum envelopes inked with white pearl calligraphy.

Our bride, dressed in a gown out of scalloped knitted lace, a rhinestone embellished underbust trim and with a trail like a mermaid´s fin, was crowned by her headpiece which reminds us of the lost jewelry that Arielle had hidden in her secret treasure cavern….
