As the wedding planner, I personally enjoyed marvelling in the evocative language of marble too much. I dove deep into its timeless beauty, uncovering innovative ways to expand its influence from the grand setting, down to the most intricate details of the ceremony. The aim was to create a cohesive, visually striking experience that highlighted the breathtaking quarry landscape we discovered in Athens.

We began with a pre-wedding photography session that set the tone for the day. Our radiant bride posed against the wind and a sleek black Jeep, her ethereal suite complementing the rugged quarry backdrop. When the groom joined, his effortless, Vincent Cassel-esque presence in the wild landscape seamlessly merged with his bride’s ethereal elegance.

Moving to the reception, a grand, marble-clad structure stood out amidst the vast quarry. Cascading fabrics in the lightest blush hues added an ethereal, softening element that juxtaposed the solid marble. Black floral arrangements accentuated the white and beige tones of the marble, while the table settings featured a neutral palette elevated by elegant details.

This visual universe extended to the celebratory moments as well. Guests sipped on pink martini-style cocktails and a blueberry cake that surely made a statement. As the couple shared their first dance under a breathtaking moon projection against the marble, while the quarry seemed to meld with the sunset sky, creating an iconic, otherworldly ambiance.
