The setting itself is Lake Vouliagmeni, a location steeped in Greek mythology – the lake said to have been formed by the embrace of the sea god Poseidon and the nymph Vouliagmeni. Its dramatic rock formations and serene waters create a canvas that feels suspended in time, the perfect backdrop for a truly otherworldly event.

It’s a captivating trend, these Surreal Soirées, but I was determined to elevate it to the next level of style and innovation. The following day, guests would venture to the main wedding ceremony at Island Gallery, at an idyllic spot at the southern suburbs of the Greek capital, where the couple would solidify their union against the backdrop of the shimmering sea.
