Extraordinary Wedding Ceremony at Royal Myconian

Two days of celebrations, joy and anticipation under the influence of the Mykonian charms, led up to this wedding. The culmination of such an exciting journey. We made sure it was obvious that this was the crescendo. For me, it had to be Royal Myconian, with its breathtaking view from above, of the shimmering sea and the wild rocks against it. For Karina and Michael, it was meant to be, and you can tell.

Nothing short of extraordinary, the wedding day called for all the emotions of the happy couple and their loved ones. The setting had to be moving, not just undoubtedly stylish. A manifestation that made the most out of the natural environment, the effortless beauty. Location, location, location.

Bridal preparations, in the ever so high-end and peaceful Panoptis Espape Hotel, attested to effortless luxury, as any part of our experience. Loved ones spending the most precious moments with one another, posing with silk robes, getting ready and smiling like never before, while the bride was preparing to rock her smoky eye above her diamond necklace. She has a bit of rock n roll blended with high-end and I loved it. Her unmatched style was also found in the groom. Elegant and confident, ready to experience an unforgettable moment with such poise. I knew that they were meant for the special setting I planned. The bridesmaids in the champagne coloured silk dresses rocked a single calla lily and posed with the bride in the biggest smiles.

More Information

This three-day crescendo reached its peak with clusters of white hydrangea against mirror surfaces. A vibe both abstract and refined. Natural and electric. Softened by the texture and visual of the hydrangea petals, united like clouds, while the backdrop is one of the sky and the sea. This moment felt so elevated, it had to look like so.

At the end of the aisle, the ceremony spot consisted of large pieces of metallics with abstract edges, asymmetrical, adorned with clusters of hydrangea leading up to them. The element of transparency generously offered space for the aisle, as the guests were seated in plexiglass chairs on the edges.

The bride stunned everyone as the groom stood under the sun and between the reflections, smiling and taking every bit of this moment in. She, in her exquisite Galiah Lahav dress, was walking slowly, but surely, towards him. Holding her wedding bouquet of calla lilies only and a metallic band that held them. Solid and tender at the same time.

Vows were exchanged at this now celestial spot, where even though beauty surrounded them, the couple was the absolute focal point. Their intense gaze while testifying to their love, the sun beginning to set, their loved ones cheering for them. The ceremony ended with the couple walking the aisle holding hands as the petals flew over the air from the loved ones, reflected by the warm tone of the sun. Embraces, smiles were all around.

It was time for the reception dinner back at Panoptis, to soak it all in and have a marvelous time. The tables were set up with many candles and hydrangeas lighting the way. The guests enjoyed their chilled wines in the lounge area, still enjoying the breathtaking view before moving on to the dinner area.

The day ended, of course, with another fabulous party. As the couple filled their champagne tower and kissed Hollywood-style in front of the DJ, it was time to start dancing. Party tunes, mixed by live saxophone, were addictive. The bride changed to her party outfit and was definitely the night’s super star.

Three days, countless memories, and one love story that outshone even the most spectacular Mykonian sunset. Karina and Michael’s wedding at the Royal Myconian, and their reception and party at Panoptis, made for a composition of design, emotion, and joy.
