When a couple ask to book their wedding party at Steigenberger Petersberg in Königswinter Bonn, you just know it’s going to be an utterly exquisite event.

Offering its guests the chance to stay in an incredible setting, this grand hotel and spa stands proudly over the Siebengebirge and the Rhine. Steigenberger Petersberg is renowned as one of Germany’s most luxurious and high-end wedding venues to marry. Rabea and Simon’s enchanting celebration here was certainly no exception and it’s a pleasure to be able to share a snippet of the magic from their special day with you. 

Having held an intimate ceremony with just their closest family in the morning, Rabea and Simon wanted to completely embrace the rest of the day, focusing on an extravagant wedding party at Steigenberger Petersberg in the evening. Their celebration began outside, soaking up the breath-taking view across Königswinter, before friends and family headed into the main venue to let the partying begin.

As their luxury wedding designer, we wanted to make sure guests stop in their tracks the very moment they walked through the doors. My background in fashion designs means I deliver a strong emphasis on the aesthetics of an event. 

This happy couple were all about doing things differently. Tradition was swept to the wayside, and instead Rabea and Simon wanted to host a seriously cool wedding party at Steigenberger Petersberg for their favourite people, featuring dancing into the early hours of the morning and all the good vibes!

Here at Kiss from Fleur, I listen carefully to my couple’s visions and thoughtfully transform their dreams into a reality. For Rabea and Simon, I endeavoured to create the most stylish wedding party and disco that the couple (and their guests) had ever seen and I think we nailed it.

Working with couples across the globe to create weddings that are unique, individual and always unforgettable, I love nothing more than delving beyond the creative boundaries for weddings, to curate something that takes your breath away. 

There are elements of wedding entertainment that can really add the wow-factor, and I worked with Rabea and Simon to include an epic live band, an energetic club DJ and a bespoke light design and sound concept that created a pink-violet sky with twinkling stars. The atmosphere was electric! Oversized disco balls teamed with transparent fabric added a touch of romance to the rotunda, along with a statement floral centrepiece that was raised above the dance-floor area.

As a fashion-forward wedding stylist, I wanted to ensure that there were laces of luxury throughout their celebration, using golden mirror names, seating plan and golden metal chairs teamed with black stone plates. The perfect modern-meets-chic combo!

A three-tier wedding cake adorned with dripping icing, feathers and vintage-esque roses stole the show – it was as amazing to eat as it was to witness! A grand piano added the final grand touch to their wedding party at Steigenberger Petersberg.

Taking into account the latest wedding trends (and those that I anticipated in the future), I wanted to bring the couple a completely unique wedding party ambiance with modern, stylish décor.

It’s my job as a wedding designer to unravel your love story and tell it in the most beautiful way, weaving your personalities throughout every detail.

I am a true creative at heart and it really does show through my concept creation of a couple’s celebration.
