Ladies, picture the scene! The sun glistened down onto the water, which was surrounded by cliffs, mountains and sheer serenity. The most jaw-droppingly stunning backdrop you could ask for on your wedding day – what’s not to love?! Our bride arrived by boat, which was adorned with the most beautiful blooms you’ve ever seen. So if you want to go all out with your floral design, we’ll make it happen for you – no matter what your colour palette or preference may be.

She looked breathtaking in a fluttering gown, that was softly transparent and layered with luxe material. Nothing is ever too ‘OTT’ when it comes to our brides! A handful of pearls completed the bride’s aisle style, before she was accompanied by naiads and mermaids… almost as if they were delicately choreographed synchronized swimming towards the ceremony. The bridal party looked ethereal in an array of minimalist satin slip dresses from Ritual Brides, paired with pearl accessories and subtle shimmering make-up. One seriously gorgeous bride tribe – so much pretty!

A romantic apocalypse disco wedding at Lake Vouliagmeni

The groom, dressed in a white tuxedo dinner jacket, channelled sophisticated and suave James Bond vibes. He awaited his bride at the mirror catwalk, ready for her to walk down the aisle as gracefully as she would at a fashion show. The aisle itself was styled with bespoke mirrors, hydrangeas and baby’s breath in soft cloud shapes, completed with mirror foiled balloons that reflected the light from the sunshine and lake’s waters.

When creating the concept for the catwalk, I wanted the transition from day to night to be seamless, using specialist light design, effective ambience and a smoke machine. Disco light effects strobed throughout the space, reflecting at the cave of the lake, ready for guests to party the night away. Lighting has a huge impact on the atmosphere of your wedding day and after party, which is why I work with an amazing team of suppliers who can make your dream celebration happen!

Mirrored details throughout the event instantly added a touch of luxury, with disco balls in the trees and above the dance-floor, a mirrored cocktail bar serving signature cocktails and a unique LED DJ booth for the tunes. A champagne tower immersed guests in a high-end experience, along with a Moët and Chandon Limited Edition with silver spiked studs – an extraordinary addition to any wedding day!
