From the alluring scenery to the azure waters, the colourful patchwork buildings that cling to the cliffside to the vibrant parasols that cover the beaches (and we’ve not even mentioned the cuisine), there is something so indescribably special about the Amalfi Coast.

It is no wonder that it entices couples from all over the world to get wed here, offering an opportunity to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and experience ‘La Dolce Vita’ in full swing. WITH Kiss from Fleur

After landing in Naples and swiftly grabbing my first Aperol Spritz of the trip (one of many, obviously), I began by making my way up the labyrinth of lanes that leads to Ravello, one of the Amalfi Coast’s most renowned hilltop towns.

As I followed the winding coastal roads, I discovered a tonne of hidden treasures along the way, including quaint villages, colourful houses and views that are hard to beat. And it doesn’t stop there, I knew there was more to explore when it came to the collection of wedding venues on offer in Ravello...

Palazzo Avino

Let me introduce you to Palazzo Avino, also known as the ‘Pink Palace’. This is one of Italy’s most sought-after five-star properties, and now boasts the Pink Closet, a boutique fashion store that you’ll never want to leave – I certainly didn’t!

From the moment I stepped through the doors of Palazzo Avino, I was surrounded by exquisite interiors, impeccable service and setting that made me feel like royalty. First impressions? I could definitely get used to this...

This deluxe hotel is steeped in history and was once upon a time visited by writers and painters. Now it is renowned as one of the world’s most prestigious hotels, with a one-star Micheline dining experience. It is hidden away in Ravello, set right on the cliffside with views that stretch out across the sparkling Mediterranean waters.

So, if you want a chic wedding on the Amalfi Coast, this is one Ravello wedding venue to add to your shortlist.

Next up on my list to visit was Villa Cimbrone, a wedding venue in Ravello that seriously stopped me in my tracks. From the array of spectacular spaces to the beautifully manicured gardens, I just know that this fairy-tale setting will wow your guests from the moment they arrive. You can exchange your vows in the outdoors courtesy of the Tea Room Pavilion, before wining and dining in total luxury in the Crypt, where you’ll have expansive views across the coastline. I was officially smitten!

It was impossible to ignore the architectural delights that Villa Cimbrone has to offer (where you can really make the most of the incredible photograph backdrops – look no further than the Belvedere Terrace). Its spaces are rich with history and exude endless opulence, so tie the knot surrounded by a feeling of bygone romance.

Everywhere I turned, there were arched windows, time-worn flooring and walls that have many a story to tell. Its elegance is unavoidable and this is somewhere to embrace its natural beauty and complement the setting with glowing candles, twinkling chandeliers and high-end florals. There is no doubt that Villa Cimbrone has my heart.

Just a short while away from Villa Cimbrone was Belmond Hotel Caruso – the next stop on my tour of the Amalfi Coast. And

what could be more luxurious than tying the knot in a palace? Belmond Hotel Caruso is just one of Ravello’s most romantic wedding venues, featuring sweeping views across the coastline, a famous infinity pool and an exceptional service that is hard to find elsewhere.

This coveted wedding venue on the Amalfi Coast is one of the most popular destinations to tie the knot, allowing couples to completely indulge in stunning architecture, delectable cuisine and glorious surroundings. Not to mention the fact that it is undeniably photogenic – I have never taken so many photographs in my entire life!

This 11th-century palace is perched on a balcony at the very top of the coastline, so that your celebration can take centre stage. Enjoy an alfresco-style reception in the plush gardens, shaded by olive trees that are elegantly entwined with twinkling lights, with space for up to 170 guests and 50 rooms onsite.

If you want nothing but luxury on your wedding day, this is the place for you and I was lucky enough to experience it first hand.

I’d seen a selection of Ravello’s prestigious hotel wedding venues, but I also wanted to have a nosey of a villa style location. Cue La Rondinaia, a luxury resort and wedding venue in Ravello. This historic setting has hosted a series of famous and illustrious guests, boasting panoramic views and a stunning setting on the Amalfi Coast.

Both its indoor and outdoor spaces offer the perfect location for an exclusive and extravagant wedding day, and you can expect nothing short of prestigious service and irresistible cuisine. From the moment I arrived, my heart skipped a beat. I was immediately transported away from the chaos of life and relax, to a place where I could unwind and celebrate in total luxury (it has capacity for up to 180 guests FYI).

As I wandered through its accommodation, I could appreciate just how sumptuous their deluxe rooms and junior suites were – ideal for my clients who want to stay in a villa for a longer duration. After seeing it in the flesh, I have no doubt that La Rondinaia is the perfect Ravello wedding venue to begin your love story...

If you come to the Amalfi Coast, you have to visit Sorrento so that’s exactly what I did. I was spoilt with glittering waters, ancient towns and boutique restaurants – cue all the heart eyes! Although it is a small resort, it is recognised across the globe for its coveted hotels, dramatic cliffsides and its extensive history.

You may have already spotted Villa Astor as the backdrop to one of our elopement shoots which you can enjoy here, and it remains as my of our favourite venues on the coastline. So how lucky was I to be able to explore it for myself.

Overlooking Bays of Naples, Villa Astor is an extraordinary and exclusive residence that is renowned for having one of the most prestigious botanical collections in Europe.

But it’s not just the gardens that will capture your heart – this is one Sorrento wedding venue for history lovers too! The owners of Villa Astor are now hugely passionate about restoring and maintaining its original beauty and architectural historical masterpieces, while offering an elite destination for couples to celebrate their marriage.

And if you didn’t already know, Villa Astor is owned by the Heritage Collection (along with a selection of other coveted venues across Europe). Each and every residence is a masterpiece of history, architecture and romance, and it really does have to be seen to be believed.

It goes without saying, Villa Astor is a Sorrento wedding venue for couples who are seeking the ultimate luxury for their wedding day. I could have stayed here for so much longer, but it was time for me to head off on my next adventure around the coastline...

During my next leg on my journey around the coast, I stepped inside Excelsior Vittoria, one of Sorrento’s most iconic and historic landmarks, attracting discerning guests since 1834. Recognized as a member of the ‘Leading Hotels of the World’, this five-star hotel boasts a certain aristocratic charm and an air of opulence.

This luxurious location still features original antique furniture and interior design and has hosted the likes of Marilyn Monroe during its time! As I walked around the grounds in awe, I felt lucky to be walking the pathway of so many iconic and famous figures.

Picture the scene... as you get wed here, you can take a wander around its enchanting gardens that are filled with olive trees and a lemon orchard, before heading back inside and experiencing the ornate ceilings, terraces with sea views and charming rooms.

The ceiling in the Vittoria Ballroom is recognized across the world for its intricate, unique and mesmerising frescoed artwork. There are a number of exquisite areas for you to host your wedding day, whether you want an intimate gathering with just your closest friends and family or you’re looking to dazzle with a party for hundreds of guests. The choice is yours...

As I moved onto my next wedding venue to explore, I found it hard to believe that anything else would take my breath away – but then I discovered Bellevue Syrene. Located in the very heart of Sorrento, Bellevue Syrene is guaranteed to make your heart skip a beat (and it certainly did mine).

This 18th-century villa is renowned for its sparkling white walls, modern marble hallways and elaborate artwork – a combination that makes this the perfect Sorrento wedding venue. Set atop the cliffside and overlooking the Gulf of Naples, I was simply wowed by Bellevue’s incredible views as they transition from day through to the night.

Their beautiful panoramic restaurant hall has space for up to 140 guests, while their terraces can host anything from an intimate gathering with 30 guests to something more extravagant with 150 of your loved ones. They also have a smaller restaurant designed for heart-felt celebrations with up to 40 of your friends and family. As I looked around, I can confirm that they are all equally delightful.

The Club Lounge awaits in the evening, where your friends and family can sip on G&Ts, feast on delicious canapés and enjoy an unforgettable dining experience. And when guests dive into bed after a day of celebrating, they’ll have boutique bedrooms with sea facing views. It is pure perfection and somewhere I have fallen head over heels in love with as part of my travels.

Take a look at some of my favourite wedding venues in Positano...

Vangelis Photography

WITH Kiss from Fleur

While the Amalfi Coast is made up of a collection of quirky coastal towns, the most famous is perhaps Positano and I was super excited to revisit this wonderous place. Known for its pebbled beaches, striped umbrellas in the sunshine, boutique restaurants and busy yachting scene, alluring couples to its shores to experience and savour everything it has to offer.

First up on my list was Villa Treville – and what a venue to start at! Not only is Villa TreVille one of Positano’s most iconic wedding venues, but it is also one of the most coveted locations on the entirety of the Amalfi Coast. Officially the former home of the famous Italian director Franco Zeffirelli, this boutique hotel is recognized for its cliffside setting and ultra-luxurious suites, where every singular detail has been thoughtfully curated and finessed to perfection.

Everything about this Amalfi Coast wedding venue will exceed every expectation you may have – from the views to the villas, the gardens to the service, the cuisine to the rooms. It really is the epitome of elegance and enchanted, and it awaits the most important day of your life.

Although it is set within the busy flurry of Positano, it is completely secluded and private, so that you have exclusivity of the setting to use as you wish. There is capacity for up to 80 guests, with 17 exclusive rooms for maximum 34 guests to enjoy. This is certainly one wedding venue on the Amalfi Coast that has the wow-factor.

After immersing myself in the luxury of Villa Treville, I was ready to explore another wedding venue, so I arrived at Villa San Giacomo, as featured in Vogue. The iconic Villa San Giacomo is perched at the very top of Positano’s highest point, where this 18th-century villa has a glorious pink façade, beautifully tiled floors and incredible terrace views.

It really does look like something from a postcard – but better! There are ten elegant bedrooms for your loved ones to indulge in, each designed with a subtle nod towards its historic and aristocratic past. The outdoor terrace lends itself perfectly to an alfresco dining experience, where you can tuck into a feast and enjoy lavish wine overlooking the coastline.

Cocktails really do taste better with a view like this one! Throughout your stay here, you can make the most of the luxurious amenities on offer, including the outdoor pool that is wedged within the cliffside. Take a swim and soak up the scenery and I’m sure you’ll love it as just as much as I do.

I was back in the town of Amalfi and ready for my next phase of my wedding venue tour. If you’re looking for romance and history for your wedding day, Grand Hotel Convento di Amalfi will certainly catch your eye. This is one Amalfi Coast wedding venue where you can allow the natural beauty of the venue and location to speak for itself.

Offering a rustic, historic and ‘abandoned’ setting, the 12th century Cloisters are the most enchanting setting for you to say, ‘I Do’ with your loved ones watching. They also have the option of a Catholic ceremony in their chapel (it is in fact the only location on the whole of the Amalfi Coast that can host a Catholic, civil or symbolic wedding ceremony in the same place), so you are spoilt for choice.

You can also head up to the Belvedere Terrace for your drinks reception or simply to take in the scenery. The views across the coastline are unbeatable and this was one of my favourites! As well as sweeping views across the coastline, you will have the benefit of their mouth-watering restaurants and first-class service, ensuring you have a wedding day to remember at Grand Hotel Convento di Amalfi.
